Fuel level averaging on ADL

Postby Billzilla on Mon Jul 12, 2021 5:38 pm

Got an ADL for one of my road cars and the fuel level reading jumps up & down quite a bit at times, I am wondering if it was possible to have a type of rolling average function, something like take readings once a second for thirty seconds, add them all up then average them to give a more stable reading.
I haven't looked at the ADL function stuff for the best part of a decade, I was hoping that someone might know off the top of their head if something like that's possible.
Ta!

Hi,

The easiest way to filter this is to increase the filter level in the Dash display to the maximum filtering level of 32767ms, this will filter the signal over 32.767 seconds which should assist in smoothing out the display of the level.
