Bought a car with an ADL2. Looking for some info on it

Postby HFin01 on Wed Aug 14, 2019 1:34 pm

Hi

Recently bought a racecar with an ADL2 installed as it's only form of dash/datalogging.

New to the world of Motec but a bit of brute force and ignorance with the DashManager program, I think I've got the bulk of it figured out. Surprised with how much you can do with it.

I was wondering if I could find out it's specs though. Fairly sure it's non back lit with 8MB memory.

Serial number is 7397.

Thank you

You can check the enabled options yourself. Use the Dash Manager menu Online->Enable Dash Options. This will show the currently enabled options.

What kind of race car?

Much appreciated guys

Reading through other posts I'd assumed you had to ask MoTeC to look up the serial to see options.

The car is a BA Ford Falcon, BNT (NZ) V8 Supercar.

Hi,

A lot of the serial number information requests are from people who are looking at purchasing the hardware and are wanting to confirm that what the seller is advertising matches the actual functionality of the device. Others are wanting to sell their hardware and don't have the ability to power it up to confirm what is on the hardware.
