SDL RS-232 TX

Hi, does the SDL require any transmission control channel to output RS-232 on the TX channel?

Can the TX be configured, or does it depend on the template configured for the RX device (in my case, an M4 ECU)?

I'm trying to get serial data output, but get nothing so far. According to this video, it should work on the SDL: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G_f1cmx ... Aw&index=4

Also, where can I find specifications for the TX pin (baud rate, etc.) Can I configure using newer SDL3 software?
