driveshaft rpm traction control

Postby NLR on Mon Nov 30, 2009 12:27 pm

Id like to set up a a control circuit that will look at a target driveshaft rpm vs. time.
If the driveshaft rpm goes above the target driveshaft rpm at a certain time I would like a rpm limiter with randomizer to go into effect until it brings it back down to the target driveshaft rpm.

Any help would be appreciated.

4 pulse trigger is being used.

Id like for this to be recorded in the data so I can view it in conjunction with timer 1 for setting up the control curve.
Im thinking the slip program under traction control but just cant get it worked out.

Hi,

Can you give me some more details on what you wish to do?
I'm assuming your drive shaft is the gearbox output shaft / tail shaft?
When do you want to activate this, at what speeds and driving condition?
Would it be only in one gear or continue over many?
How will the target speed vary with time, increase, decrease, linear or curve??

Thanks,
