Hey guys,

Just a quick one, i am trying to use an M880 as a data logger for a drag car, (carby engine), have all of my pressure/temp sensors working but cannot get the wheel speeds to work on the digi 1 & 2 channels. do they require a pull up resistor? which pins does it go across if so?

how do you calibrate the pulses per K/m on an m880? I am used to setting ADL/ACL but never used ECU to log this sort of thing before.

thanks for any help!

As well as assigning the particular Dig input to your speed channel in the Input screen you also need to set up the Dig input in the Adjust, Digital Inputs screen.

Thanks IDP, that did the trick.

Now for my next question, I have wired a 0-5v shock pos sensor into AV5, I can set this up in the inputs screen, however there is no where to calibrate it/make it work. I am unable to find the area where it might be cal'ed?

cheers

Sensor setup>Input setup>User should get it happening.

In the Input setup screen for your user channel select the Custom Calibration button. There you can select the units you wish to work with and make a custom. table of Volts v whatever unit you choose.

This setup doesn't lend itself to Zeroing of damper sensors and the like very well but if you use the Read Value button when setting up the table you can work it out from there.
