M800 Tacho connection
Posted: Mon Aug 04, 2008 1:37 pmI am running M800 gold box in a 1999 WRX STI and cannot get the taco to work. How do I cannect the tacho wire from the M800 to the back of the dash? ie any resistors needed?

Posted: Mon Aug 04, 2008 3:16 pmPin B14 of the original ECU connector is the tacho signal. You will need a 2200 ohm pull-up resistor to 12 volts to make it work on an M800 output.
