Guys,
I bought the DEM 724-0501 (Non Latching) connector from Motec and have no idea how to wire it up with the wiring harness. Can anyone help?
Cheers
Andy

Hi Andy,
The wiring is on all the ECU drawings for the M400, M600 and M800 but for the record the pin out is:
1: 0v comms (ECU B14)
3: 8v (ECU A13)
4: CAN Lo (ECU B24)
5: CAN Hi (ECU B23)

Thanks Mark,
Which pin is no1, no2, ... on the plugs?
By the way, do I crimp the wires directly to the pin on the connector or soldered them on and wire heat shrink it?
Cheers
Andy

Grab the data sheet here Andy
http://www.motec.com.au/filedownload.ph ... docid=1214M800 pins crimp directly to the wire no need for heatshrink as it won't go into the weather seals on the plugs.

Very welcome Andy!
It's a good idea to get the correct crimper for these pins as well as the hole in the body of the plug doesn't leave room for anything other than a nice roll crimp on the insulation.
They're a bit spendy but worth their weight in gold
