PID Fuel pressure control

Postby Martin on Wed Aug 12, 2009 5:50 pm

Im using PID fuel pressure control and ive got 100Hz PWM to the Motor.

What frequencies are everybody else using?

Ive got the following Setup
Pgain 0.25
Igain 1.5
Dgain 0.1

Any comment?

Also, This is a dead end fuel rail. Does anybody do PID fuel pressure control with a regulator also? or only dead end systems?

I'd also like to find out some info on this feature.

The pump I was intending on using is the Fuelab 41401 pump. It has an ecu builtin that will control the fuel pump output based on the duty cycle input. I figure if I can't use this output then I could use a simple Aux output as an option and build a user defined table. I'm simply trying to reduce fuel circulation from the tank to the engine and back along with current draw reduction.
Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.

The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
