hello,

i have an 25 year old 2,5l 4-cylinder naturally aspirated engine 66kW.
this motor will be modernised and controlled by a motec m400.
is it possible to get basic settings for main table's and PID-values for DBW and IDLE Control for this kind of motors at least to start the engine? :|

The PID settings for DBW are specific to the throttle assembly you are using. Have you actually chosen one yet? Your MoTeC dealer will be able to provide you with settings provided that you have a DBW throttle that has been characterised by MoTeC. THese settings are critical to correct opperation of the DBW throttle so it is important that you have the correct ones. You will need to provide the part number from the DBW throttle assembly to ensure that you have the correct setup.

Idle control is more specific to the engine itself and can only be tuned on the engine. A setting that works on one engine will not necessarily work on another. Idle control PID should only be implemented and tuned once the tuning of the engine in the idle area has been done.
