I've not captured the REF/SYNC signal though, I've found the signal figure in the service manual,
does this help you out to find out if you have any information, Darren?
The graph saying, crank angle, sync signal, ref signal from the top.
Both REF/SYNC is hall type sensor and sensor power/output signal is 0-5V.
(signal normally outputs 5V, become 0.5V when tooth comes close)
SYNC is also used for CAM position.
seems like REF teeth is 36, two missing teeth 4 times per cycle.
Firing order is 1-3-4-2, SYNC teeth seem representing cyl number
(cyl1=1 tooth (no additional), cyl2=2 teeth(one additional) ...)
How should I setup the REF/SYNC setup as well as CAM position setup?
Will REF/SYNC mode 9 work for this? or can I use OEM mode 42 perhaps?
