Hi,

There are a couple of different Crank/Cam trigger patterns used by Mazda for these engines, can you do a capture and post it?

Good day

I know you noted that your engine's harness is still a work in progress, but I would be very curious to see what the oscilloscope capture from the M800 reflects for the engine in question. Just for my personal knowledge.

From what's shown in your screen shot it seems as though the crank trigger is using 4 evenly spaced teeth while there are two different sized events on the cam trigger, but as Stephen indicated it's always best to start with a known capture from the actual engine then work from there. Especially since the M800 has the ability to function as an oscilloscope.

That pattern doesn't appear to line up with any of the MX5/Miata Reference modes that I have. The closest has 4 uneven teeth on the Crank, and a 2+1 pattern on the Cam.
