Hello from Germany,
Exuse my Englisch, but sometimes I miss technical terms, I hope you understand what I mean.
I have a Motec M800 + SDL Dash/Logger on a Ducati 1098 Engine in a 916 Chassis.
After a few Rides, the Bikes runs good, but not perfect. The last Optimizations i would do on the Racetrack.
I activated the Dual Lambda modul and then i could see in the logged date where the Motec adjust with the short and long trim Filter.
Is it possible to read out the long trim Filter or push a button, that the M800 correct the Main Fuel map with the long trim Data or have i to look manually where i have lean/rich Peaks and correkt it manually?
Can i delete the long trim filter or delete it automaticly if i adjust the Main Fuel map?
And a second Question,
The Connection to my Notebook i do with the UTC.
But the UTC have to mount every Time at the bike, also when it runs. If i cut it off, the SDL Dash lost the actually data like RPM, Engine Temperature and something like that. It shows only the standard display, like if you get it 12V.
Its like frozen, RPM 0, Engine Temp 0, Lambda 0,00 etc...
On the Track i see some other Motec Users, and sometimes they only need the UTC to read the bike out or go into the ECU.
Do you know whats the difference between UTC have to mount on the bike all time and you only have to mount it if you want to connect the Notebook?
And 2 Pics of the Bike.
Kind Regads
Lennart
