Knock Control

After playing a bit with the knock control function, i've managed to make it work, but i have some questions:
-The knock threshold table, sets the amount of knock that is allowed from what ? What channel determines the actual knock percentage.
-The knock input is calibrated in volts, where are the volts converted to a percentage, to take into account in the knock threshold table?
-The long and short term retard don't affect the ignition timing, unless i use ign comp 1 and 2 table, and use the knock trims as axis, is this the correct way to do it ?

Vlad, first things first, have you set up the knock module centre frequency on a dyno? Or you already have the correct frequency for these engines? Without the correct frequency set the rest is a bit irrelevant.

Send me a private message with your email, I'll send you a working example file, and a log file.

Hello together,

I have almost the same questions as Vlad about knock control.

What is behind the values within the knock table, how does the values come about or how can these values be found out because the values are in percentage?
What channel determines the actual knock percentage?
The knock input is calibrated in volts, where are the volts converted to a percentage, to take into account in the knock threshold table?

Maybe someone can help.
Many thanks in advance.

Best regards

I think these questions are answered in the SKM and OKM User Manual. The Hundred-series ECU won't do knock control without the addition of one of the knock modules described in that manual. Here is the link to the manual:
