M600 Settings - 2JZ-GTE OEM Idle Air Control Valve

Postby MaccaMcc on Thu Jun 11, 2020 2:57 pm

Hey guys,

I'm in the process of changing some of the setup on my car. Currently the IACV stepper is controlled by the stock ECU while the M600 manages fuel and igntion. Dont ask - that's how it was setup when I bought the car.

I want the M600 to control the IACV to try and improve the warmup/idle/low load characteristics.

Does anyone have any experience using this stepper / ecu combo and could give me a starting point for the settings in idle control, Aux out - idle stepper and for setting the hi/low values?

Cheers,
Dave

I would suggest you convert it to a 2 wire valve like this and use basic pwm like the fords etc.

The 2-wire IACV's are easy to setup.
I was using 30-50% on my 302W V8 for hot/cold starts.
25-30% was the hot idle range for 1100rpm
