M 400 what is enabled

Postby Kenny Bahd on Sun Feb 18, 2018 5:34 am

I bought a used M 400, how do I find out what is enabled . Will I be able to data log with it or do I need the dash to data log ? The serial number is 13001-11603.

Thanks for any info, Kenny

Hi Kenny,

That M400 has Single Lambda enabled.

You can have the on board Logging enabled by contacting your local MoTeC dealer, or you can use a Dash to log the ECU outputs.

Thanks for the info Stephan. To get this unit enabled for what I need, is there a service charge for each function? What is the cost per function? Can this be accomplished online ? Or do I have to take the unit to a dealer?

Hi Kenny,

There are costs involved in purchasing each of the enables, you will need to speak to a local dealer for this information.

The enables are in the form of an emailed code, so you can order them from your dealer, who will then email them to you so that you can enter them into the M400, presuming that you have the UTC to be able to communicate with the ECU.
