Single Cylinder Trigger

I'm working on a single cylinder engine.
The trigger pattern is 36-1
I am getting a rev signal but its not enough for the ecu to send spark and injector signals.
Hopefully someone can help with my matter as i have been at this for over a week now.

Thankyou in advance!

PLEASE IGNORE the name of the file of course its not a diesel engine.

Additional Information:

I have checked both spark and injectors, and both systems are cycling when tested on the test function within the ECU Software.
I am getting a crank speed reading when i turn the engine over, but i get no signal to make the injector/coil to cycle.
Crank angle sensor is out of a 89 Legacy gt, so this means its a Magnetic FALL sensor.

I must be missing something basic in the software but i dont know where to look.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated

Do you have a sync sensor on the engine? (The ref/sync capture shows no signal)

Mode 69 will only work if you sync pulse is at the point of the missing teeth on the ref signal.

Your ref signal is rising not falling, you should change this setting.

I do not have a sync sensor on the engine it is just a REV sensor
I cannot install a cam sensor on it either

My superviser has mentioned something like making the engine run in a particular phase

There are a couple of options, you can set it to run as a 2 stroke and it will fire the injector and coil every rotation or you can use a MAP sensor as your sync signal.

If you go with the 2 stroke method, set your number of cylinders to -1 and then setup the ref/sync mode as 1 missing twice per cycle and the number of teeth to 36.

and what about the map signal version

That sounds absolutely awesome

Only thing is that i cant get my map sensor to spit out a value at all when cranking

Its a 96 330 547 Map sensor
Wired up correctly but dont know how to input its information.

What you do is connect the MAP sensor to the SYNC input. Use Ref/Sync Capture and you should see the MAP pulse when the piston is moving on the intake stroke. You can set the thresholds so that this causes a sync signal.

Start with that and post the Ref/Sync capture file (or a screen shot like above).

What ref sync mode should it be on for the maf being used as a sync sensor

I just got a strong map signal but the crank signal is now completely different to what it was

After another several attempts to get a signal to the injectors

i have now lost my rpm readout by the ecu, it doesnt want to read a value.
