I'm trying to do the initial setup of this engine, someone has the required wiring for this special trigger mode ?
Is it necessary to connect the sync pin to the ref pin ?

Hello,
Yes you join connect the crank sensor to both Ref and Sync.
They are not the easiest engines to get to sync up, especially if they have a lot of light weight components in the rotating assembly.

Thank you for the answer. We have tried several enhancement : make deeper teeths (that's working quite fine), and we have put a hall effect sensor.

Good to hear.
Best upgrade you can make is going to an M1, they start better than a road bike.
The difference on the same bike from a M800 to and M1 is bigger than I can describe. Well worth the investment.
