Silly question on "compare"

Postby Ralph on Sat Oct 29, 2016 12:01 pm

compare mode for some tables; it seems compare axis points in a table not on value of axis points?
Is this normal?
eg...... comparing a Fuel MAP comp table with 10 x- axis points to a file with 13 x-axis points it seems to compare the actual axis points not the value of the axis points.

If course a silly question but anybody want to humour me?
Thanks
Ralph

Hi Ralph.

If the number of axis points in a table varies, the compare function can have issues in working out the best way to interpolate between the different points. The best thing to do is to try and ensure that you have the same number of points in the tables that you are comparing.
