GM Idle Stepper Setup
Posted: Sat Mar 19, 2016 12:38 pmI'm trying to use the GM Stepper IAC control on a GM LS7 engine. I have it wired and configured according to tech note V15. I've read the F1 Help for each of the tables, but I still need some help as to how to setup and tune this.
I seem to either have nothing happening, or the idle valve opens too far and the engine races away.
Does someone have an example file for an LS engine with a working GM stepper IAC setup? Feel free to zero out any propriatary info, I just want to see how the various Idle Control tables are setup, and the system is configured.
Or perhaps a procedure for what getting a base idle (with IAC somehow closed but disconnected), and filling out the tables.
