upgrade Firmware Password

Hello

Have a M800 with Firmware 2.3
I did upgrade to Firmware 3.41 without Problems.
Then wanted to update to 3.54 and no it asks for Password????
I cleared the Password i try to set Password ...nothing worked.

And i have it on a pnp from a EVO9 the same thing.
Is there a hidden Password i dont know???

Presumably at V2.3 the ecu was password locked, and will be with all other firmware versions.

V3.41 does seem to have a little glitch...in that any password requirement seems to be removed.

OK that sound logic.
so i try to switch back to Firmware 2.3.
and look if there is a Password.
Removing password only by sending ecu to australia?
No reset master Password available. (set all data to Zero)?

I dont think it needs to go back to Australia, but it will need to go back to a Motec dealer.

And presumably you will lose whatever map is on it ?
