Using AEM Twin Fire CDI with Motec m600

Postby mfalah on Wed Sep 30, 2015 8:47 pm

Hi,
I have a fully working Motec ecu and fully working AEM CDI ignition, but when wired as the manufacturer specified the AEM doesnt work. Motec is working fine, and in one of the motec webinars i heard "you cant test the CDI8 in output test because it uses one channel" etc does this apply to any CDI in general? I am using pencil coils and have no spark whatsoever. A tuner me it can be related to the hall sensor probablem. Yeah to be honest in ref sync capture all i see is one flat line much before 10 v and nothing much. Anything wrong here?

Thanks.
