Close looped Gear change control

Hi guys,

I am trying to run the down shift rpm limiter on the seq with load cell shift knob on the Gp. N evo 9 tranny.

I have set up all gear detection as voltage, tailshaft speed calculation, gear voltage, gear ratio, wheel speed from MDC.

throttle blip is set up and working.

However, when I put in any value in the down shift rpm limiter in gear detection setup page, it cuts the ignition to 100% whenever I go into 2nd gear or up and laptop shows dual rpm limiter active.

Has anyone experienced same or similar issue with that?

I am trying to limit the blip so it will match the rpm when doing down shift.

Thanks,
Anthony

Update on this:

I got it working and I guess the tailshaft speed cannot be from calculation.
Once I connect the speed sensor from the gear box it has no issue.

Now I need some advice or recommendation on clutchless downshift setup to ensure there will be minimal wear and tear of the dog gear.

Is it better if I set the blip to 75% and about 175ms, and let the downshift rpm limiter do it's work?
or should I just go with what I got from the open loop test data logging of blip with 25% throttle?

Thanks,
Anthony
