M400 - Yamaha 1800 Cranking Issue

Hi

I have a Yamaha 1800 Jetski engine that I am having issues cranking. I have gotten a lot closer by adjusting the Fuel air temp and engine temp comps and also some cranking compensation. The issue I have is that the first time to get it started each day takes a bit of coaxing. However as soon as it is started, if I then stop it straight away so that the compensations zones stay the same, then press the button it starts straight away. I am reluctant to adjust the compensations anymore as it behaves fine after the very first turn over.

I am reasonably new to this and still learning, and wondering what other things I can look at to assist with the very first start up.

Thanks in advance.

Reading some of the other cranking issue problems and resolutions, I just did a Ref Capture as a pre-emptive possible answer.

Hello , Try to approach the sensor ref .
It does not seem a good sign .
Or before you change the position of the ref tries to change the ref trigger voltage.

A screen shot only shows a small picture.

But it does look like a good clean signal with good voltage levels.

As to whether they match your setup config...no idea.
