On the Aux outputs 113 there is Alternator control. Is there any documentation on this feature ?

does it act as an exciter ? How do you wire it up ?

Any info would be gratefully accepted.

If you press F1, you get the help window that starts with the list of function numbers, you need to scroll this window down and there is a complete description of the function:

113: Alternator Control
Turns the Alternator off during full throttle if the battery has sufficient voltage. Note that the alternator much be able to supply at least twice the system load draw so that the batter can be charged during part throttle.
The injector battery compensation must be verified to ensure that the fueling does not vary as the battery voltage varies.

I would assume you either use the aux output to directly power the field voltage, or have it control a relay for the field voltage if that draws too much current.

I have read the F1, I am looking for detail on how it works and how to wire it up.

Hi

If you wire the Aux on the alternator instead of the charing lamp the alternator works when it gets 12v, and and don't work when aux turned too 0 volt.

PS: I have not tried this but i believe it will work.

I am not one for just jamming in wires in places unknown, can no one from Motec explain / provide a simple drawing of this undocumented feature ?
