TC aim slip table

Postby sphilips on Sun Jan 04, 2015 9:20 pm

I have been studing some traction control settings. Now I wonder what method is used best on bike.

Aim slip table that uses:

- rpm versus gear with a compensation map with throttle and gear as an percentage

or

-throttle versus ground speed.

I have found both used by high level teams. What is the benefit from one over the other?

Also I have a lean angle channel that I can use.
Now I use the first method but using the lean angle instead of the throttle channel.

I think it would be better to use the first method with the first compensation table and use a second compensation table with a lean angle versus gear.

What does the rider feel is the most comfortable method? that is what I would base the choice on, unless you have a very good reason for going one way or the other.

Hi,

in my opinion anti wheely is much hard to understand than TC. For my side the best strategy is to reduce the TC reaction in cause of the pos. of the fork. If the front wheel lost the contact to the ground, the TC must react much smoother. This gives the rider time to react and switch to the next gear.
