Feature Request

I currently use the 4d fuel and ignition with the 4th axis being current gear. This works very well for the ignition as you can choose to have only 6 tables and get significantly higher resolution. However on the fuel side of things the resolution is fairly limited especially for a boosted high revving engine. If you have a RPM range of 2000-12000 and a load range of 40kpa to 350kpa you have huge gaps in fuel control that the ecu has to interpolate between. If the fuel 4d maps could be set up the same you could only use 6 maps and have far better control. Currently to get around this I have compensation maps with the same axis as the main map with alternating sites so the main map goes 1000, 2000, etc and the comp maps go 1500, 2500, etc.

Is this something that could easily be done in future releases?

The M800 has more memory space allocated to ignition tables than there is available for fuel tables which is why there is the additional option available for bigger tables in 4D ignition. I will put in a request for a change but this is likely to give 6 tables of 20 x 16 sites.

Sure beats 16x11... Thanks Ross.
