Traction & Launch Control Setup

After reading what is there I have a reasonable idea of what has to be done. There is also this thread (viewtopic.php?f=11&t=135&p=698&hilit=traction&sid=75cf887696d34e910e104af910f2e2c5#p698)
However, it would be very instructive to have a tutorial document of how to develop the settings. Especially useful would be a list of things absolutely not to do. Also is there a way to have both launch control and traction control =, i.e setup and implementation
