Expander outputs can be assigned to almost anything (within their capabilities) except ignition or injection. Its a CAN msg at 200Hz and any table info is held in the Mx00, in fact ALL cal info is held in the mx00, think of an expander as a dumb box. If you want 8 table operated outputs you lose all 8 ind cyl injector trims. Even numbered E888 outputs are low freq (100Hz) low res 0-100% in 20 steps), odd numbered are high freq (5K Hz) high res (0-100% in 255 steps).
For an m800 and a 6 cyl with primary and secondary sequential injection when you enable the secondaries they use inj 7,8 and ign 3,4,5 and 6. So if you want waste spark or sequential ignition you need to run the ign from an ignition expander from ign 1 which leaves ign 2 open.
