M800 Issue

Just recently when i turn the ignition on in my car the thermo fan starts up instead of the fuel pump. It has never done this before.
If I cut the power a couple of times and try again the fuel pump will start. This issue is intermittent and does not happen all the time.
Could it be an earthing issue or a software problem?
