Problem to connect M800

Good Morning all,

very strange problem connecting an M800 via Can or RS232 (same problem) to the laptop.
if i try to connect the ecu, the Ecu Manager software say me "no ecu detected", but i'm completly sure the harness is correct (cause i'v try to connect another Motec Ecu, and this one start the connection without problems.

this ecu was tuned from another guy before, may him can have set some protection over the "normal" password?
please help me, i don't know how to finish my costumer car.

Something to try (best i can come up with )......

In ECU manager go to Tools / Options. Select the Communications tab and try different CAN data rates.
