Engine cannot start

Dear All,

We install MOTEC M800 to CAMPRO engine, the problem is engine cannot start i think we are wrong in our ref and synch. May I ask for help who has data for this engine so that we can start using MOTEC M800?

we capture already the ref/synch but still cannot start. our problem is the crankshaft is magnetic and the cam shaft is hall.

We have a problem in cofiguration of CRIP our CRIP is 60-2 and attached is the ref/synch capture. Who can help us to start the engine using MOTEC M800 if connect the engine the stock ECU it is working and no problem.

What are the trigger voltage thresholds for the ref signal ?

It is a good stable signal ok, but a very low voltage.

I'm no expert, but it almost looks like the centreline of the waveform doesnt actually go +/- over the zero line ? Unless you have offsets specified in the trigger settings, then it will never be recognised.
I'm sure someone more experienced will be able to advise better

Where in the world are you ? Is there a Motec dealer or mapper near you ?

A MoTec dealer should be able to sort out your problem in minutes.
Or, if you prefer, post up the config file.
It is more difficult to help remotely.
