PCMCIA or USB convertors???

Hello,
We have had a UTC (USB to CAN) adaptor available for many years now. An old CAN cable generally has not been used fro a long time.

What ECU do you have and what version of software?

Hello Mark
I used the Adapter in the year 2000
Now i need it for a new M84, but i still have some "old" M800 to do.
I know that there is the new USB to can.
Maybe there is a spezial deal from Motec for user of the old adapter.
Send old back and buy new for spezial conditiopns?

Regards Bruce

I found this device. It is not a classic USB to parallel for printer only. It emulates a true LPT port. It appears as a real LPT port on PC, where any software could use it. I never tried it, and don't know if Ecu Manager will be ok with it.

As this question comes back from time to time, it will be nice if someone at Motec could try it, or at least check the site and infos with the Ecu manager LPT port driver.

Old M800s should still be upgraded to the new software and using the UTC.

Sorry but no, there are no special conditions for swapping the old CAN cable. :)
