VDO sensors' questions

Hello all.

1. where could I find the calibration tables for VDO pressure sensor 0/10 bar and VDO temp sensor 0/150 C. ?

2. Is it correct that I absolutely need a Motec VDO adapter to connect VDO pressure sensor to an M400 ?

3. Are Eng 0V and Aux 0V connected together inside an M400 ? I just find out that, in factory wiring, some sensors get Eng 5V but go back to Aux 0V.

Thanks in advance.

The calibration for the VDO sensors are in the M800 software so you can select them as a sensor in your input setup. This information is also on MoTeC drawing # X07 which can be found in the downloads section of the MoTeC web site at http://www.motec.com.au/downloads/downloaddatasheets/ . You will also find a schematic for the VDO adaptor, this adaptor is essential but you can make your own if you prefer.

We do not have calibration for the temp sensor, do you have a part number?

The 0V eng and 0V Aux are connected in the M400 so it is ok to connect your sensor 0V to both pins if this is easier.

Thanks Ross.
Yesterday I tried to connect my 2 VDO pressure sensor to AT nputs, and I saw it works without the resistors... perfect !

VDO 323-055

Perfect, thank you !
