2006 MX-5 mode 44?

Postby ElectronSpeed on Mon Oct 24, 2011 10:37 am

We have a 2006 MX-5 with a special engine assembled from a variety of Mazda MZR parts. I believe the builder's intent was to make it run as if it were a production MX-5 (mode 44?). Unfortunately, I am having a hard time getting this thing to fire. I suspect a ref/sync issue.

Can someone look at the attached picture and see the error? Or give me some specifics on what the mode is looking for? Voltages, rising falling, timing of signals . . .

thanks,

Eric Schieb

Why do you have the ref/sync trigger voltages set? This is only used for a piggy-back setup where the signals are pulled up from 0v, your's are not. This won't be helping.

The CRIP I have for those engines is 550.

What errors will not go away while you are cranking? I.e. while you crank in the diagnostic screen and keep pressing enter, which ones keep coming back? Does the ref/sync syncronized status go to OK?
