Fuel second load map, offset or percentage

Postby Mr ganbatte on Thu Sep 15, 2011 2:13 pm

Hello,
Could some one please tell me what offset mode means on the Fuel secondary load map.
Mine is set up as no. 1 throttle based offset mode
Percentage is % of IJPU. Offset is ??
My set up is a multiple throttle body RB26 .
Which is best, percentage or offset.
Any plain explanation of the latter would be much appreciated.
Cheers

An offset is a straight addition of Fuel, i.e. if your main table says 40% of IJPU and your Second load table is 50% then the total fuel will be 40% + 50% = 90%.

A percentage is a multiplier....so in the first example we have a main table of 40% and asecond load table of 50%, the math's now is 40% + (40% x 0.5) = 60%.

Most people do it by percentage, i.e. if the second load table is 50% you are adding 50% more fuel to what you have from the main table.
