Hello Gents,

We have installed a M800 on a supercharged 993. I am having problems getting rid of the ABD light ! is a PWM sufficient to get rid of it ? Any advice ?

Thanks !

No,

I mean ABD...

As per Porsche:

When the drive wheels begin to spin, the automatic brake differential function (ABD) initially brakes the individual wheel with the higher level of slip. If both wheels spin,

Geez, this really depends on what you are trying to do. Is the ABD still working or has it been removed form the car? Do you want the light to function....? If so how?

If you have installed the M800 and messed up the ABD then the light will obviously be on becasue there is a fault.

Mark,

I am trying to turn the fault light off only .

The Abd is programmed in the ABS module, that turns off past a certain KMH on the 993. Its not working because its lacking an ecu PWM from the bosch ecu that has been replaced with a M800, basically telling the ABS ecu that the throttle is depressed past idle. We installed a LSD wich renders the ABD useless since its operation is pure drive wheel spin control (L and R) since there is no LSD stock.... The ABS is working fine. The check (fault) light stays on ... because the ABD light is on. all is missing is the PWM. The rest works of the ABD and ABS system works flawlessly.

Any help would be appreciated !

Thanks !
