not connection parallel to can

ECU M800 3.52P2
PC dynabook AX/53C
OS win7 32bit

and lindy parallel Express card No51535


[Parallel to can cable] is in good condition.

I confirmed it with other PC[dell].

I want to connect motec by using [parallel express card].

I want to know a method.

Please, any suggestions

I cannot say this with 100% confidence, but I do believe that the Parallel cables are no longer really supported with the M800 software.

We also had little success with Parrallel port adapters when we were using CAN comunicaion cables.

I would suggest to you that you should use a UTC with a USB cable.

Hi

I am using UTC.
But, a connection with UTC was unstable.
It is connected with UTC, and a connection is cut off during running suddenly.
Ignition noise, cause?
A USB cable is 6-foot [1.8m].
Therefore, I try parallel to can.

You should get a shielded USB cable, they should be available at any computer store. It is likely to be ignition noise from the car. People have also seen this problem when there as worn parts in the ignition system (bad ignition leads, etc).
