Hi all does any one know how to stop o2 corrections from being applied during post start fueling i no I'm missing something thanks. m800 version 3.52f

Shouldn't the warm up delay take care of that?

Adjust > Functions > Lambda control > Setup Warm up delay

In Function->Lambda Control->Setup->Active engine temp.......

Thanks so much for the reply i have tried that setting but it has a max. setting of 255sec. and changes with duty cycle and o2's current temp. This way to inconsistent is there something some where else. I know this function is available on most other ecu's i tune thanks

I know that lambda control is (was?) suspended under certain conditions, gear change cut, acceleration enrichment etc. It is possible that it is also suspended whilst post start compensation is active, but that is a question a MoTeC tech will have to answer.

I am now curious though as to what application would need such a long post start enrichment?

hi
yes lambda control suspended is what i need during post start fuel additions. The problem with warm-up delay is when the sensor is warm or hot i can only get a maximum of 29-29 sec. before it turns on with delay set at 255sec. And if i use #6 ls 4.2 fast heat i don't have any delay at all.This project we are working on is getting the best mpg.as possible on a 400hp v-8 so running lambda values of 1.02 to 1.30 on start up doesn't work when lambda turns on to early. Do we have bad ecu or software? does anyone else have this problem? am i missing something? it wouldn't be my first time thanks. :?

You can use the Lambda table compensation table with "Fuel Starting Comp" as the axis.

hi
thanks mark for the reply but our lambda comp is already allocated for long winter warm ups needed. Whats with the la. delay is it a bug in the software or am i doing something wrong? thanks

If you aren't using the 2nd axis available on the La Comp can't you add Fuel Start Comp and make it a 3D table?

hi
Yes we are using the 2nd axis kpa efficiency x temp but if i removed efficiency and added post start wouldn't i need time on the other axis? or do you know a different way? if so an example thanks so much.
