YAMAHA R1 2010

Hi,

I am trying to install a M800 on a Yamaha YZF R1 2010 (big bang).

It seems that all is running well when using the test output utility (ignition, injectors Hi/Lo, sensors etc....). We tried for long to start the engine with the engine starter without success. When trying with an external starter we could reach about 2000 rpm and then the engine starts and runs well. (Which confirms that CRIP and TDC are correct)
Then, we looked at the difference of cranking with the engine starter and with the external starter. It seems that, below about 2000 rpm injection doesn't work and ignition is retarded to 90°(looking with a stroboscopic lamp). It works as a limiter was on (which one?) but when I look at every limiter status they are all off (or seem to be...).

Has anybody got an idea of what could be our problem?

Many Thank

Mazi,

What is needed to drive the dual stage trumpets?
I have an R1 TB, and need to drive the servo for the trumpets as well as understand the idle circuit???

DBW4 is running all around throttle and M800 is running Servo trumpets on AUX1-2.

Hi,

Now, our R1 is running well. We had a mistake on the ignition type, using falling trigger instead of rising. Everything is ok. Now, we wanted to try to use genuine R1 dash board. It's easy to use the tachometer, but anybody now if it's possible to re-use the digital dash to see temperature or other params?

Thanks.
