communication cable with parallel DIY

hello everyone,
is this possible to build my own communication cable from parallel directly into ecu?
if so, can someone suplly the wiring diagram for it (inside of the parallel connector, to ecu i know what to connect)

Hi,
Basically the answer is no, there would be a fair bit of MoTeC IP that would be needed to make it work and I boubt there is any chance of it being released to the public.

The hundred series ECUs only communicate with the laptop through CAN so you either need a CAN cable or the newer USB to CAN (UTC) cable. There is no option to talk between the laptop and ECU with RS232.

is it possible to make you own can cable? like go to the precise pins on the board and even better just make the other end a usb plug for your laptop?

As Mark mentioned a lot of MoTeC IP would be required to make your own CAN cable or UTC and basically this isn't going to be released.
Sorry guys you're going to have to bite the bullit and buy the appropriate comms cable.

Heheheeee I think we can buy an universal USB-CAN convertor ;) (obviously wiring in the right order the CANHi, Lo and gnd cables)
