If I was to want my stock Nissan 6 cylinder rev counter to lie and read about 4800 RPM when the engine is really only turning about 3800 RPM how would you set it up? Please don't ask why...... :) Thanks.

I'm sure its possible to change the output.....but trying to fool a noise test. Naughty naughty.

Play with the settings in Auxiliary outputs/tacho ?

Adjust>Auxiliary Outputs>Aux out>Parameters>CALIBRATION

Has your nissan got fully variable camshafts?

No, it's on fixed cam timing, would playing with that output signal interfere with the correct activation of some VV timing set ups?

Thanks for the replies!

Nope, its purely the outputs calibration...So whatever is reading from the OUTPUT will be affected
