Block number changes

Is there any way to highlight cells with the shift/cursor keys as normal, then change this highlighted block of values up/down using the pgup/pgdown keys as you would individual cells ??

Is there any way to interpolate between selected cells on the map, as opposed to being forced into doing entire rows or columns ?

Yep, press the shift key then the arrow keys this will mark a block. You can then do maths on the sites you have chosen. Remember the F1 help key if you get stuck.

Yes, selecting them is fine. If I type in a number, it will change these cells to that value.

But if I try to add/subtract using pgup/down, it only changes a single cell. Not the entire block.

You cannot do this with the up and down arrows but you can use the shift key to add, subtract or multiply. For example to add 5 to the numbers in the table, highlight the area you want to change then press "5 Shift +" To add 5% press "1.05 Shift * ", to reduce by 5% press "0.95 Shift * " and so on.

I'll bump this, with another query and perhaps request. If Im not being dumb.

Would it be possible to use the shift key, and cursors to highlight blocks of cells, and then to use the pgup/pgdown to adjust that block of cells ?
At present it does highlight them ok...but will only adjust a single cell.

Makes things easy when making live adjustments on the road when you can quickly adjust blocks like that.

And next...interpolation. At present I believe it will only interpolate entire rows, or entire columns

Would it be possible to allow interpolation between selected or highlighted cells, either in rows or columns.

Yeah, these would be really nice features to make mapping even more pleasant.

Please if possible put these features in :)

Thanks,Peter

Oh...and a ghost trace on the map would be nice too :)

I guess a bump for these same features 2.5 years on would do no harm :)

Yes, I agree. Motec needs to update it's software. There's many lesser ECU's out there with better features to help with tuning.

My suggestions
1. Allow selected "Blocks" to be adjusted with the up/Down keys
2. Ghost trace
3. if I2 & engine manager open in seperate windows, as you move the cursor on a datalog the corresponding site in engine manager would follow. (hope that made sense)
4 On site box, on the map instead of off to one side. So you don't have to consantly look over to the box to see if you're on site.

I'd never choose anything over Motec, but it's lacking in some areas.
