We have some on-board videos of the testing, in our Mazda RX-8 GT-R. http://aponteracing.com/arforum/index.php?topic=44.0

For the throttle blipper I would use the gear shift function in the software, you would use the down-shift output for the blipper.....not sure if everyone was clear on this, no need to use any tables.

If you had an H pattern gearbox this is where the down-shift request to the ECU would get a bit more complicated needing brake pressure, etc. A sequential gearbox is obviously a lot easier.

The ECU`s gearbox control works well for downshift blip.

Its on some Carb engines thats only got an SDL, where I use the dash to blip it.

Recently i found that blip for downshift was very not consistent and sometimes was 16% throttle and sometimes less (6%) we suffer a lot misshifts. So I decided to use clutch output to control blip... works great:) main advantage is that I’m able to set duration of blip....
I'd like to see in next software blip duration setings :) or closed loop gear shift control:)

Bliping, hmm, why bliping at all? Lower gear less speed! ;)

Just kidding! I am looking for solution too. Using M800, sequential Holinger 6-speed, LSD with 20% on deccel and full on accel, SDL, GPS timing soon to come, 3 wheel speed sensors, anti-lag, dual RPM ETC....

Question about gear change IGN cut sensor: Must be have on both sides switch to recognize down shift, right?

Anyone know GOOD gear change IGN cut sensor maybe? Not load once.

Anyone thinking about guilotine valve for bliping maybe? (veeeery fast but 20 amps)

Cheers!

Dear Martin,

remeber old throtle body with 4 throats and like guilotine opening, not with standard buterfly. We did try to make one with electromagnet. So like slide door, may i say like that? My English explanation is not really good every time, i know that. Sorry ^_^

I will soon test it i think. Will post the results if any good.

P.S. if there is ANY already good solution let me know please.

Yes you can say it like that, I understand what you mean.

If you have good results please share it.

Thanks
