Audi S2 5 cyl

Postby insomnia on Thu Nov 10, 2011 9:24 am

Hello together,
i search the calibration table for the stock sensors for an Audi 5 cyl 2,2 Turbo.
Air Temp, Water Temp etc....And can anyone confirm that the Mode 59 is right?
Any advice or experience?
Thank you

Hi,

Which ECU are using on this car? If you are using a newer 'Hundred' series ECU then you will be able to do a ref/sync capture which will help you identify the correct mode for the car. There is a webinar that you might like to watch about this function...

Hi all,

Some infos about the Audi S2 5 cyl 2,2L Turbo:
-Camshaft Position Sensor 1 tooth every 720°, Hall
-Crankshaft Speed Sensor 135 teeth every 360°, Magnetic
-Crankshaft Position Sensor 1 tooth every 360°, 62° BTDC Cyl#1, Magnetic
I use Cam Pos and Crank Speed, I assume i can try Mode 2...

Regards
Francois

Hi,
Yes, mode 2 is what you need. You should still ALWAYS do a ref/sync capture to attach to emails/posts if you are asking this type of question.

Hi MarkMc,
i"m sorted now, firing order 12453
cam sensor hall, ref sensor mag, filtered at 0,5v, Crip 62° Mode 2 135 teeth and the engine start nice!
i remove the stock MAF, mount a MAP sensor 3 Bars, Done.
i go on the Dyno in a few days and look what the Turbo GT42 push under 2 Bars Boost...
