Multi maps

Postby SMChipTuning on Fri Jul 08, 2011 7:50 am

Hi
We have one Mitsubishi EVO 6 in workshop,we planning to do next:

1. launch control
2. anti lag
3. multi map (one with restrictor, one without restrictor, one for E85 fuel)

Can we use Motec M800 Plug-In ECU for multi map ?

Car now has a TDD ECU and TDD dashboard, can we keep TDD dash with Motec M800 Plug-In ECU ?

Thanks

plugin ecu can do multi config setup (up to four files can be stored, the same as m800 goldbox)

Yes, as has been said the Plug and Play can do four complete maps. You need a combination of two switches to change through the maps, this should not be too hard to do. The Plug and Play M800's use the same software and have the same number of inputs and outputs as a normal "Gold Box" M800.

Never heard of a TDD dash so you may need to talk to the manufacturer. General industry rule of thumb is that the manufacturer of the recieving device writes a recieve communications template, e.g. we would write a recieve template for the Autronic ECU rather than them writting a transmit template to suit our Dash.
