M800 Fan trigger pin

Postby Koose on Thu Jun 23, 2011 2:59 am

Hi folks,

Thanks for having me :D

I have inherited a Rover 400 with a T16 engine running an 8 injector setup on a Motec M800.

Some of the wiring was a little 'off' so i went to remove the mnotec and tidy it up. Once id removed it i noticed the trigger wire coming from the relay that controls the pair of fans , had pulled out of the B connector. It had just been twisted up and pushed inside a hole. I 'think' its B20, going from the photos id taken of the bay before the work started, but its very hard to tell for sure. Can anyone help me at all ?

Many thanks indeed,

Mark Wallis

Open the ecu, or the saved ecu file, in ecu manager and go to adjust > auxiliary output functions. There you should see which auxiliary output is defined as fan control. Then you can go to the wiring diagram and see which pin corresponds to the appropriate auxiliary output.
