Holmz, can you take a picture of your intake setup and post it?

The reason you need two outputs to control the intakes is because it is a dc motor and will run in two directions depending on the polarity of the two outputs on the ECU.

The timer is to make sure it doesn't run against the stops continually.

It may be that your earlier setup is different.

I'll have to get a shot of the airbox side - when I get room to download the camera.

I thought that the 'servo' was a solenoid as it is spring loaded in the low trumpet position, so I thought it was only on (down=long trumpet) or spring loaded to up, or short trumpet... rather than driven to and fro.

I still need to get a manifold made, and it looks like it will be welded rather than cast from alloy.
But also searching around on plastics and plastic welding.
There is an existing plastic manifold that I could use the flange side of. However I am not sure if these are mounted solid on the R1 and the 4 rubber boots on the intake just seal it, or it is suspended off of the rubber sleeves/hoses.

Do you know if you can just put the 12v directly to the 'solenoid/motor' or if it needs to be current limited?
I could just try it with power going both ways... But do not want to loose the 'magic smoke' out of it.
