Need little advice for better boost control

Postby Wolf_Tm250 on Fri Nov 20, 2009 9:59 am

Hi all,
I just notice with i2 that while rpm goes up, boost decreases a bit (-15 kPa) because boost valve duty cycle slowly increases from normal position 50 to 54.

Do you think I need some Integral then? Now is 0.00.

Thanks

Hi,

Yes a small amount of integral gain should help trim out this small error.
Having a relatively small error, you should set the integral clamps fairly tight also to stop windup.

Testing will show the amounts required.
