Diagram Drawing

What program do you (motec and others) use to draw your diagrams. I am currently looking for a good program to draw diagrams in (currently use visio and hate it). Any recomendations would be appreciated.

I actaully use Visio Professional 2007 and it works quite well.

But for the very complicated stuff.

AutoCad Electrical.

I think I have seen less complicated programs out there for electrical but I like AutoCad as it is 100% configurable.

We use Visio as well. Since Raychem uses it for their Harnware system which is used by many harness producers, we find it very easy to integrate with some of our customer programs. We don't actually use Harnware because we've developed our own systems to integrate wiring, pinouts and BOMs; I don't have a compelling reason to switch.

an apparently AutoCad Inventor Routing does that too!

I know the price of AutoCad. Wonder how much for the Harnware!

We, at Art of Speed Racing, we use piece of good old white paper with marks of dirty hands and ball pen Number 3 with blue ink. If this does not work try with Caddy Electrical from IGE. It is pritty simple and works good. Multi layering, linkage and stuff are nice options. Other then that i use Solid Edge but is not really good only for electrical stuff. Try Caddy!
