Bosch DBW Motor

Postby joe90 on Fri Jul 17, 2009 9:26 pm

I received my pinout info for my DBW motor from Motec, It lists +5V and 0V, is this ENG or AUX ?

Hope someone can help,

Thanks

We would normally wire those to ENG but it will work ok on either.

Hi Ross,

Thanks for the reply.

I've connected everything up as per the supplied pinouts and DBW Parameters, but can not get the system working.
When I switch on the ignition, the throttle flap moves to 'fully open' and stays there.

The DBW Motor I'm using is listed as having the same DBW parameters and pinouts as the Bosch 0 280 750 009,032,036,047......

Thanks

It is most ikely that you have the motor wired the wrong way around (AUX 1 and AUX2). Your setup looks ok but you should disable the Y axis on your Throttle Translation table or change it to another channel, it makes no sense to have TP Reqired and TPD on the same table.
